NECCO was sold to an investment group in 2017 who said they would continue running the company, but turned around and parted out the products to the high bidders 2 months later and laid off all those worker too boot.
I'm not sure if I've ever had this gum, but that background illustration is pretty intense:
I want to know more about the ingredients list. What kind of art? Do they have to import Old Masters? Obviously if it is Cartoon Art, they can do it in house.
No, they forgot the capitalization. Art used to work on the line, before the accident.

I never cared for cloves or clove-flavored anything, not much of a licorice (anise/fennel) fan either. I would eat those candies if they were around - I liked the cinnamon and orange flavors. They worked in a pinch and were usually preferable to circus peanuts (which are another matter - orange-colored, peanut-shaped, banana-flavored, spongy things that resemble our current President) Apparently Necco Wafers are no longer being produced as of July, 2018, but there are plans to revive them in 2019.
ok yeah, those went straight into the trash at my house. Not only were they awful but people handed them out individually! They always went straight to the bottom and were part of the crumbs that you emptied out after sorting everything into piles by preference.

I remember those. They were classified as the effed up stuff that you leave for mom. The clove was damn hot and I have to admit out of all the chalky flavors was the best in my opinion.
