i very rarely get sick
however, i can personally attest to the nastiness of the flu this year
Ooooh.....sorry. Feel better soon! I'm knocking on wood. So many people I know have it. I've been lucky. No covid or flu of any kind. I'm like you...rarely get sick but when I do.....bleh.
I have a finger nail that is about to fall off as a result of a pinch a few months ago. It's barely attached & I have a band aid over it but maybe it's time to let it go. Not like I'm going to rip it off but maybe I shouldn't try to protect it. How do you feel right now?

Actually pretty good, but spare a thought for my right eye. A week ago I was biking home after a funeral going fast downhill on a forestry lane when a bumblebee land splat right in the corner of my eye and lodged itself there while I violently braked and finally managed to dislodge it but not before it stung me right in the corner of my eye, making one half of my face look like a creature in Avatar. I just got back to looking normal again and now a mosquito has stung me just under my lower lid. Bastid. Now I look like something in Rocky. But we have a newt in our new pond already! That'll teach those squiggly little protobastids. And I bought protective glasses with bumblebee bottom slip function to wear while riding home from funerals.
