Nice, in fact. However, through WMP I can get 320kbps streaming, and, to my ears, the sound seems more "warm", as I´ve said berore.

But, unlike many of the others, when streaming from RP, WMP doesn´t display neither the name of the music, nor the name of the artist. Any one knows to solve this.? Thanks in advance ! They probably would get complaints if they flag them to aggressively as many real emails would also get snagged by mistake.

Once you mark them as spam if the webmail is actually monitored it will know right away.

When I check my web mail and I find a message I consider "Spam" or "Junk", I mark it as such and it goes to the appropriate "Spam/Junk" folder.
My question is: can I delete them immediately? Or does the email server host (Comcast, Yahoo, AOL, Google, as an example) need those flagged messages to sit there a while so that they know to filter those email senders as spam/junk in the future? How long should these messages reside in the spam folder before you should delete them?

I've gotten tired of MacOSX and I think their Yosemite is bloatware. I stuck with Mavericks but I think Snow Leopard was their best for speed and stability and I keep a good copy of that on another boot partition just in case. So the past week I've been downloading and test driving various Linux Distros. Its been a few years since I've toyed with Linux and at that time I thought it was cool but not quite ready for it to be my main everyday OS. That was when the main choices were RedHat or Fedora. That and I came from a UNIX background and this is similar in many ways. Seems like most the new distros are just different desktops and tweaks mostly based on Ubuntu. Some are made to be easy to use and look like Winderz or MacOSX to make it easier for people to transition. The 3 that caught my eye the most initially were Ubuntu 1404.2, Black Lab 6.5 (both mate and kde) and Opensuse 13.2. After trying all 3 I learned to hate Ubuntu rather quickly as it seems to closed and hard to personalize and their proprietary Unity IMHO isn't really very good. Black Lab seems great for someone that doesn't want to get under the hood much. So I decided to keep Opensuse installed and try it for a few weeks. To me it has a better blend of ease of use and ability to be tweaked any way you like. Seems noticeably peppier than Mavericks. And Radio Paradise works great with it so far. Netfix works great as do both Firefox and Chrome so far. I haven't found any deal killers as yet.

Google says there should be 45 watts available on the FW400 port. This one just has a 2.5 inch drive, so that should be enough. It would be dependent on if Apple put that much oomph into the output. MB - this one does have a port for external power, but I don't have an adapter. Should be easy enough to come up with though.

They're correct, Birdman: No actual storage here. I had a SSD from my dead laptop that I yanked out, found a case for it at OWC for $3 including shipping (so basically free) that they'd taken some other drive out of and just had it laying around. If that's all you need, they're out there for nothing...

ETA: I know nothing about Macs so there may be some weird reason this wouldn't work but you should be able to format the drive to work, no matter where it came from provided it hasn't crashed to death.

usb 2.0 i think. not the tiny usb and it probably has an older fire wire port as well
