No, the space/soundscape issue is huge. I feel pretty lucky to be where I am now, though of course things are always fluid — never know who might be moving into the neighbourhood next.

My neighbour (I live in a 13-storey apartment building). He lives in the appartment diagonally above me, and as it is very hot today, he sits on his balcony, playing music and making telephone calls. And, it's my weak spot, because I HATE that, it makes me feel that I can't sit on my balcony, because I don't like to hear two types of music through one another, and it makes me feel awkward as these balconies are very close to each other.

Lawn mowers. There's a mower fixin' place around the corner. Every day there's guys on riding mowers going around my block testing them. I wish they'd run over my yard to " test " them. If they all would do that......my yard would get mowed and I'd be inside in the A/C. ....... seems like a good idea to me.
