Joking aside, how did that work out? Were you on the hook for uninsured motorist-caused damages? Did your insurer pay out and then pass on the costs to you in the form of higher premiums?
We reside in Derplahoma, where 25% of cars on the road are uninsured. Our insurance covered the damages and then sought to go after the deadbeats to recover something. As far as I know, they actually recovered exactly $0.

It's tough to watch something like that while my Miata is stuck in the garage carhole with the streets here being basically a solid sheet of ice for the last couple of weeks.
Is that the fun part of living in The Great White North?
....... Gah. We finally got rid of P's wreck-magnet Mazda. Hit five times in four years; four of the asshats were uninsured.
Wow. What state do you live in?

This made me laugh. When P moved down here from Chicago one of the (many) things that struck her is that it seems as if every third car is a RED Ford Mustang. It's a thing with us now that every time either of us sees one we say: "Oh look!"
i like some of the older cars
makes me smile
takes me back to the good old days of eight tracks and...
then i snap out of it and thank Cthulhu that my a/c works, gas mileage is decent and my sh*t isn't breaking down
*giggle* edit: there several clubs here for old rides and barely street legal hot rods they'll meet in a strip mall parking lot after hours, raise their hoods and show off the goods

It's shaping up to be a rough winter for us. 10" of snow Friday into Saturday and 40+ mph winds Sunday and Monday. Full-on bumper cars. I'm just very much hoping that Thing 2's truck damage ends up being the last of our vehicular mayhem for a while. Almost $4000 in damage estimated. Yay.

As would I. Did you see the Sunday drive video the guy posted? That looks like a fun time.
Yeah, but I'm afraid I'd need to go back to Stick & Clutch 101 to do it justice.
