Lies = willful premeditated (pre-printed) misrepresentations (of the truth).

Have Undocumented Immigrants Killed 63,000 American Citizens Since 11 September 2001?On 22 June 2018, in the middle of a family separation crisis caused by the Trump administration’s botched “zero tolerance” policy, United States President Donald Trump himself recycled a claim that undocumented immigrants committed an abnormally large number of homicides in the United States. “Sixty-three thousand Americans since 9/11 have been killed by illegal aliens,” the president said. “This isn’t a problem that’s going away, it’s getting bigger.” Not only is there no evidence for his claim, it would require a seemingly superhuman murder spree by the nation’s roughly 11 million undocumented immigrants. The event was held amid a cascade of public outcry against internment camps established by the government for undocumented children, which prompted the Trump administration to quickly change course and order undocumented families to be held together — while seeking the ability to do so indefinitely. But while the president accused reporters of failing to cover this alleged rash of homicides, the numbers do not support this claim. (...) The original source for Trump’s claim of 63,000 immigrant murders? Bad data from Steve King in 2006.

President Trump seems to be saying more and more things that aren’t true“When liars repeat the same lie over and over again, they can get even more of an advantage, at least among those who want to believe them or are not all that motivated either way,” DePaulo said in an email. “So when people hear the same lies over and over again — especially when they want to believe those lies — a kind of new reality can be created. What they’ve heard starts to seem like it’s just obvious, and not something that needs to be questioned.”
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

THE FACTS: North Korea had no earthquake last year approaching that level of severity. This isn't the first time he has misrepresented the episode. North Korea tested what it called a hydrogen bomb in September, causing an underground blast so big it registered as a 6.3 magnitude earthquake. Other nuclear tests last year were associated with smaller seismic events. An 8.8 quake would be 316 times bigger — and release 5,623 times more energy — than a 6.3. In the past 15 years there have been three earthquakes that were an 8.8 or higher: the 9.1 Fukushima earthquake and tsunami in Japan in 2011 that killed nearly 16,000 people, a 9.1 earthquake and tsunami off northern Sumatra in 2004 that killed about 250,000 people and an 8.8 earthquake off Chile in 2010 that killed 524.
Trump Lies About Germany, Again, to Cast Immigrants as an Existential Threat In 500 days, Donald Trump has said 1655 false things just can't understand why y'all are keeping so many scores on the donald. maybe every country should do just that. remember when you trusted your own judgement? what if every country officially published the number of times each leader said "false things." please. that said, it's not good to lie.

The good news is that he supposedly reads a "major newspaper" and not just favourable clippings about himself...Speaking to the National Federation of Independent Business in D.C., Trump cited a story in a "major newspaper" about Canadians travelling to the United States and "smuggling things back in to Canada because the tariffs are so massive." It was not immediately clear which report he was referring to. Trump said the tariffs on common items in Canada are “so high” that Canadians buy products, such as shoes, and wear them and “scuff ‘em up” to smuggle them across the border. The U.S. president appeared to confuse duties, a longstanding fee on items purchased abroad, with Canada’s recently proposed tariffs, which are not in effect until July 1. Notably, Canada does not plan to put a tariff on shoes.
