Like you Bill predicted, today is the day when the stream finally works well for me and also the tcpip communication seems clean according to tracert.
Keeping my fingers crossed it will stay that way.

I must say I appreciate your help very much. Having been through a support ping-pong with BlueSound that led nowhere, it is a breath of fresh air to see that someone actually cares.
Anyway, I sent few bucks your way.
I think I have enough ammunition to open a ticket with my ISP (again) and see where it goes. As for now, I'm able to enjoy your stream between 6am and 8am and I'm looking forward for more. We should see where it leads us.
If there is a way to update the topic/title, pls do so, I don't see a way for me to do it. I just would like to include word 'Bluesound' in it, for any folks with similar issue in the future.

Routing issues like this always get sorted out eventually. Hopefully this one won't take too long.

Quite likely whatever routing issue is causing the packet loss between you & the RP server you're routed to, based on location, will sort itself out. 


What country are you in? Perhaps we could tweak our geo-routing algorithm, at least temporarily. Perhaps...

The us one is usally better in continental europe then the uk one.

and yes, stream-uk.radioparadise.com/flac plays nicely, while stream.radioparadise.com/flac breaks up.
What is the url for the rock stream with MQA?
Sadly, I don't see an option to enter a url on the Node.

Looks like the problem starts with  62.157.250.190 though  which  is registered to Deutsche Telekom,  and shows up as being in Southern Germany.

Currently not seeing any dropped packets between North America to the Rotterdam server,  but that doesn't go through Germany.     

Would be curious what your packet loss is with these urls.

both 109.236.95.175 and 109.236.95.227 belong to worldstream, right?

I'm using wired connection.
I tried on my pc and this is also breaking up https://stream.radioparadise.com/flac.
Come to think of it, even the radioparadise.com main web page sometimes takes minutes to load or won't load at all. All black backround with RP logo and spinning circle. Not sure if that's related to the stream issues I'm having.

As far I know nothing has changed recently to account for that on our end.

Could try streaming this link on another device to test connectivity with our servers.

If the Node device is using wifi I'd recommend testing it with a wired connection to see if that helps.

a new user here, I was introduced to this great radio by my BlueSound Node.
Since 9/2/2021 (ish) however, the stream gets interrupted every few seconds, pauses for few seconds and then resumes. Essentially rendering the listening impossible. (I found a similar thread from few months back https://radioparadise.com/comm...)
