19 years after the event, the aforementioned 5-year-old was married off a couple of weeks ago. She secured her Master's in education last year and is going to start her 3rd year teaching in a town just to the north of us later this month. Her hubby will be getting his Master's in accounting next week. The wee one just texted me that she's got a job secured after graduating engineering school at the firm she's interned with the last couple of summers. I guess it's official. They're adults.
Pfft. Said 5-year-old bought a house with her boyfriend last month. She'll graduate from college (education degree) next May. The little'un starts college this month. Full ride academic scholarship and National Merit Scholar finalist. The times, they have a-change-ed.

As for T's post below regarding the way they were were raised when we arrived at Reinway my wife and I hung out behind Chris's house with E's family and even back then they were very sweet little girls.
