Just found out my ex died last month, at age 62 of an unspecified cancer. Not really sad, not really surprised. The split was amicable at first, but later acrimonious as I was still supposed to pretend he hadn't been fiscally irresponsible and unethical in any post-divorce interactions. He had a tendency to ignore what was real in favour of what he wished were real (part of the reason he became an ex), which likely carried over to his health in this case.

I have no idea whether that quote is true or taken out of context, but where I live, they license firearms and you have to install secure storage in your house, which is inspected for you to get a license. Funny thing though, I still get to vote.
