This debate is so much more civilized than the current primary election cycle is.

As a pie, this concerns me. But I suppose that's why peach salsa works.

Nice! My niece and her mom are responsible for bringing the pumpkin pie this year. I'm very leery of that whole proposition. I assume it will be a can of pumpkin pie filling in a storebotten crust. So I have a butternut squash at home I plan to make into a pie if Justine's not doing that right now.

I had a professor who taught us all the mnemonic "How I need a drink, alcoholic of course, after the heavy lectures involving quantum mechanics and in the greatest heat."  which by counting letters gives it to a precision of twenty digits.  It has the disadvantage of requiring you to be able to spell (something many of us nerds find challenging) but on the plus side by the time you take it out to seven or eight places you start to remember you have better things to do than computations with eight digit numbers.

What are you party animals doing for pi day?

We're going to have a pi memorization contest to see who can remember the value of pi to the most significant figures.

The winner gets a cream pie in the face.

Yep, we walk on the wild side!

BTW, if you're looking for a last minute gift for PI Day, I recommend this book (seriously):
