Yeah, that's true.  I remember seeing that cereal but the thought of "grape" cereal didn't seem very appealing - naturally or artificially flavored.
On a related note: I've always found it sort of odd that Grape-Nuts cereal had neither grapes nor nuts, but no one ever seemed to have brought that up for over 100 years.

Have you ever seen the nut of a grape?

EDIT My theory that they're similar-looking is at least maybe why the name. OR it's CW Post's whackaloon science that did it.

I like Grape-Nuts a lot but I don't eat much cereal these days. But I might, since I just entered to win a year's supply.

Yesterday. The Boss' Favorite.

When we're up in the city, we usually go to Cora's for breakfast. I was reading up on how Cora's got started while waiting for breakfast yesterday and it's quite an interesting little read.

She (Cora) was studying for a career when a pregnancy happened. She gave up on her dream to have a career to be a stay-at-home mom. Years later, her husband left her with 3 teenage kids. She bought a small neighbourhood canteen, worked hard, tripled its value and sold it. The rest is history, as they say. I guess we have her husband to thank, as odd as that may sound.

Home made muesli with sliced bananas and natural yoghurt.  The yoghurt is slightly off today despite tossing the coloured skin into the compost.

The wife wants to toss anything "slightly off".   My response:  "Nah, don't worry about it, I'll eat it."
