Children get enough of being drummed in their head that any dealings with police are bad and should be avoided at all cost through their peers they don't need it further perpetuated by their parents. Now granted, philosophically I preach that the less you are in the company of police and lawyers, the better you are probably living your life, but that is a different subject.
