People not being particularly civil on the internet? Sorry but thatâs always going to be the case and when you throw in the extra touchy topic of politics on top then without question you are going to set off some big fires from time to time. Iâm not excusing bad behavior just acknowledging that it is almost inevitable in certain forums where battle lines are drawn and people are passionately dug into their positions.
I just think there is no use in bitching, crying or worrying about any of the hubbub. When I donât like whatâs on TV I just change the channel.

OV, brother - thanks but we’re grown men who don’t make decisions lightly. It’s just not fun or interesting anymore. My input has become irrelevant - my call. Maybe Kurt has higher priorities in his life than this. It’s his choice. Sometimes folks just need to take a break IRL.

Yeah, we should just accept all right-wing statements with no response, no matter how offensive. We need to quietly welcome the opinions of all people and trolls. And we need to remember that everything ultimately should be about you so any discussion of what is going on in the greater world would have no meaning if there weren't any right wing mouthpieces on this forum.
You may find this shocking... there's people on the right that feel the same about the people on the left. And from where I see things here... Kurt is pretty much outnumbered in all these political discussions. I see zero balance here. And I gave up along time ago trying to talk rationally to anyone here about politics... except maybe Scott from W. Nobody is going to change anybody's else's opinion. So why even bother?
Not shocking at all. Although we don't agree on many political things, when I respond to your posts I try to respond to the specific thing you said, not any blanket disparaging statement, because I have respect for the person saying it (...so far ).
I have learned from the political discussions here and refined my opinions. I hope my posts have had the same effect on others. I just get tired of all the statements about how unfair it is here.

There never were any fair discussions on political topics on this forum, and they're still not there. The majority engages in ad-hominems here, whenever things are posted, that don't fit their opinion. Objections to the corporate view are steadily being met with accusations of one being a troll and such like.
For me, I've decided to stay out of this delusional swamp. - Not even that I am favoring the GOP, or Trump, but I've refused letting my political mind rest and dwell in the MSM propaganda. Lest much, fighting with people here, where discussions seem impossible, or simply are unwanted. ....Out of fear of arguments, as it seems to me.
