Despite the fact that the parade remained Christmased-out to the max, and had always welcomed Tulsans of all stripes to celebrate their particular holidays, Inhofe had to travel almost fifteen miles in order to find a parade that had the name "Christmas" in it in order to ride his horsey, which is some of the worst religious persecution ever meted out to humans. Per Alex Seitz-Wald at Think Progress, Inhofe went on Fox and Friends this morning to continue to have emotions over this minor inconvenience he forced himself to face for no good reason: CARLSON: So, what you're saying is, that it's not like you're not tolerant of other religions. ... What you're saying is — what a lot of people are saying in our society right now — which is if we're supposed to be tolerate of all these other religions, which pretty much everyone accepts, why does it always seem like Christianity is the one to take the boot? INHOFE: They're the ones to get the hit. ... I think there are a lot people of other faiths who wonder also, why do they always pick on the Christians? There can be no doubt that Inhofe's personal struggles do not in any way cheapen the suffering of other Christians, such as, say...the congregants of the Our Lady of Salvation Church of Baghdad — which was attacked by terrorists just over a month ago. Right? I mean, Christians are so terribly picked on, in America. Next you'll be telling me that Christians aren't allowed to worship in some parts of Lower Manhattan, or something. Carl Paladino may not have many people sticking up for him after his anti-gay remarks before a group of Orthodox Jews on Sunday, but he has at least one supporter: Ann Coulter. Speaking to Bill O'Reilly on Fox News Monday, Coulter said she felt the need to come to the Republican's defense after it seemed everyone else had stopped backing him. "I think someone on this network should ," she said, calling Paladino a "great warrior" who wants to lower taxes. Asked about the specifics of the speech — in which Paladino warned against letting children be "brainwashed" into thinking homosexuality is an "equally valid or successful option" — Coulter said the candidate was just giving his socially conservative audience the red meat it wanted. "He's speaking to Hasidim...it's like going to Chicago. You say, 'Go Cubs,'" she said.
