I think they had to write Idina out because she has other commitments... but it sucked for the plot line.  That being said, I'll take her, Kristen C and NPH on Glee in whatever doses I can get them.  I'm glad NPH's character was written in a way that he can pop up at any time.
I just told BDH I want the DVD for xmas (or whatever gift giving event comes after it becomes cheap).

Yeah, I wasn't expecting Idina's part to be long-term, just thought the story line fell flat.  I still can't get over how much she and Rachel look alike, though!  Love, love, love Kristen C!  Do you think she's gone?  He last appearance seemed like, well, her last.  I like NPH ok, more so in this role as opposed to How I Met Your Mother, that's for sure.  That show annoys the shit out of me.

I agree with the adoption - didn't like that.  I'm also a little miffed with her attitude toward Rachel.  Just because she missed out on her childhood doesn't mean she has to basically snub her.

I loved To Sir With Love.

And I don't like them breaking up Will and Emma, but I guess they have to drag that out as long as humanly possible, right?

I liked the fact that Sue saved Glee.  I thought the To Sir with Love scene was ridiculously maudlin, and an overdone rehash.

But overall, as with all eps, I loved it.  And I'm peeved that I missed last week's ep due to an inexplicable brain freeze.

No offense to the Gleeful fans....

Evey year I pick out a couple of shows that are immensely popular and proceed to never watch a single episode.  Glee is this year's pick.  Others in the past....

Lost

Heros

Law & Order (any of them)

Any show where the entire cast are in their 20's playing roles of people in their teens

Numbers

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

The Manbird Comedy Hour

No particular reason.  Sometimes I just couldn't fit them into my life and by the time I knew about them they were too far down the road for me to catch up.

Lost - Never watched a single episode.  After hearing about the ending, I'm doubly glad I never got into it.  That would have peeved me.

Heroes - Watched Season 1, after which is righteously sucked and I stopped caring.

L&O - Wonderful for "There's nothing on" days, sick on the couch.  Especially any episode with Lenny, more so with Lenny and Jesse Martin.

Any show where.... I have to make an exception for that 70's show, but usually they are pretty bad.

Numbers - Also good filler TV, at least for the math geeks among us.  But I'm still holding a grudge that Santa Clause 3 was lacking Bernard because of this show.

Buffy - I came, I saw, I hated.  I made it through one soap opera draped in black and never looked back.

Manbird?  No comment.

{#High-five}I do the same thing and my list is quite similar with the exception of Law and Order (especially CI with Vincent). However, that last one is surprisingly good even though the host seems kinda shady to me.{#Shifty}

I really don't give a carp about what the people I do know think of me.  I certainly don't care about the opining of those who don't.  Except you.  You do know me and I do care.  Because I am secretly in love with you.  Although its not so secret anymore and BDH and JTS will probably have something to say about it —— just sayin'.  And I really like boys, so I can't be that in love with you in that way, 'cause you know, you just don't have the right parts.  But if it wasn't for that, I 'd totally date you.

please. it was insulting, even if it was your opinion. obviously, this thread is for those who watch the show and like it and want to discuss it. why come in and rain on their parade? same with A.I.  - i never understood all that.

and she was offended by what you said/your opinion. it's easy to see why she was offended by your statement. i would have been, too.
i don't see her twisting anything around.

sure, it's your right to have a different opinion, but why post something negative in a place where people find joy in something? i just don't see the point. i also think it's mean.

While the scene was great, I've been over that song for years.  I hate it.  I'll be very happy if I never hear it again.
