I got to meet Todd today at a CD signing at Barnes & Noble in Manhattan. I was late due to work commitments and the event was over when I got there. I saw Todd walking thru the store on his way out and when I approached him he graciously gave me few moments of his time to chat. I've been a fan all my life and was thrilled to finally say hello and shake his hand.
Agreed. Todd's AWATS first side is as great a series of tunes as Yes, Floyd, Zep ever put out at that period. Holds up fine, still.
Then there's the Healing album, and the NearlyHuman/Second Wind pair - especially the brilliant ode to being plain old happy with his existence, as wonderful a meditation on existence and purpose as anything out there...
Todd had a renaissance with the Nearly Human/Second Wind albums. I saw both shows and count them as some of my all time favorites. Most of his current touring band came out of that period. Change Myself is one of his best songs and would be a great addition to the RP collection.
Also a big fan. I've always wanted to go to one of those Todd Fest fan weekends but they always seemed far away. This one just a bit farther, 3,000 mile or so.
It would be nice to hear some Todd on RP. There is very little in the library and I think I've heard him once in all the years I've been on here.

Sounds really, really good to me. I LOVE these songs. (so what did you do to them? )
Remastering the tracks, cleaning them up. PM with more details. So I guess I'm on the right track and will proceed with the rest of the album. I'll put em up as I get them done from time to time.
I finally decided to get back to tackling A Wizard A True Star after leaving it on the back burner for a couple of years. Learned a few more things since then as well.
So here are tracks 11, 12 and 13. Sort of had a little to do with my mood today perhaps.
11/12 WHEN THE SHIT HITS THE FAN / SUNSET BLVD / LE FEEL INTERNACIONALE and 13 SOMETIMES I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO FEEL Clicky Here
Feed back is more than welcome since those here know these tracks well.
Play it loud, sounds better ... Y'all
Very, very nice work! Thanks so much! Awesome tracks from the master at the height of his most manic magnificence.
