A call from the vet asking for a small portfolio of photos of India because he has some leads on a new home for her. It was so hard to look through the photos knowing why I was looking. It's going to hurt like hell to give her away.

As a General Falconer, I can keep 2 raptors, so I there's no big rush to find a place for her. I can still acquire another bird to hunt with and keep her as long as I need to to make sure she goes to the best home I can find for her. The vet I take her to runs an org. called Bird of Prey Foundation and I think they rehab and place birds that have been injured. I'm so sad for India, though.
