Pure musical pleasure,May 23, 2009 By Timboliah PantsOnFiyah Initially, I was torn between ordering the Grover-Trophy Plastic Kazoo (Standard) and ordering this Grover-Trophy Metal Kazoo (Standard). After a lot of soul searching... and a couple of sleepless nights... I decided it would be a good idea to pony up the additional $1.35 and go with the Grover-Trophy Metal Kazoo (Standard). After receiving my kazoo in the mail a couple days later, I knew I had made the right choice. When you hoist this fine piece of craftsmanship to your lips, you know you're playing a quality instrument. I have spent the last three weeks mastering "Afternoon Delight"(by Starland Vocal Band)arranged for kazoo. I now find myself on what I know will be a lifelong musical journey... I owe it all to the Grover-Trophy Metal Kazoo (Standard). Buy this product. You won't regret it.

Just FYI-There's a new kid on the block called jet.com that offers $10 off your first order and free shipping over $35.I see it as a free 10 dollar bill on the sidewalk.

What's odd is there are other sellers selling them for hundreds of dollars as well. * edit: I do see there are other stores selling some Sony microcassette recorders for $100. +, but still...Maybe they're collectibles or something.
some of the reviews are from ca. 2003, but the one I quoted is from 2014. It and some others made it clear that it was both A) Tech that their bosses were comfortable with and 2) they wanted the physical tape as some sort of evidential talisman that a jury or other legal entity would accept as authentic, where an MP3 might not be.

I am switching to the digital age w/ a Sony Digital Recorder, so I won't have to deal a mechanical problem in the future, plus it transfers all recordings to "MP3" files, which is so much easier. I will keep the Microcassette Recorder though as it is good for permanent records.

I even think I summoned some kind of demon by shuffling my socks on the carpet. I mean, who knew that ghosts haunted power lines? I complained to my electric company that they were providing me haunted electricity and demanded that they send an exorcist but they wouldn't listen so I had them cut off the power and I covered the outlets with aluminum foil and crucifixes to protect my home and my family. I suggest everyone buy one of these so you can guard their homes from the evil ghosts that hide in the electricity..." Dang...I need me one of those.
