"Is it fair to a woman who trains for the olympics to be beat by someone with a biological advantage? Any more fair than someone who dopes?"
Nice try, Donnie.
Again, dont be obtuse. I really dont understand your role here. You seem to have no interest in actual conversation, perhaps just a troll or bot, with your relentless, thoughtless posting.
But all this new passion has made me wonder, what if all these people claiming to be fighting for the future of womenâs sports would really fight for the future of womenâs sports? What if they suddenly said, âWe demand womenâs sports get equal resources, equal media coverage, and equal payâ? What if these new activists embraced womenâs sports and invested in female athletes, instead of using us as their excuse for transphobia?
Name me one non-trans female Olympic champion in weightlifting. Shit...name me a man while you're at it. Outside of swimming and gymnastics...name me one Rio female gold medalist.
In a sad reality, more people know that there is even female weightlifting because of this. It won't stop the conservative media from turning this into the most outrageous example of unfairness ever. Sorry...second most. The stolen election was bigger.
difficult following you, when you drive all over the road. or is it simply, not an issue we should be discussing? I'm not outraged, or in fear of destroying the olympics (that's already been done), and certainly not "looking for solutions for problems that dont exist." Life's not fair, as you say, but too many want to fix that somehow. This is a piece of a larger issue/problem our society is trying to flesh out, and yes being exploited by whackos on both the left and right. A little common sense would seem to go a long way.

Sure, but that is the total population, not the population of competing athletes.
arguably still not that high.
No offense meant to anyone, but again its not a binary choice.
A man/woman id as a woman/man is trans.

Give them their own olympics.
Life's not fair. Who really cares?

Now those that opposed Title IX are the defenders of female sport in the US. Too funny.
I'm sure there will soon be lines at the gender reassignment free clinic so that men can win Olympic medals simply by taking some hormones and a few hours of surgery. A lot easier than training! The population is about 0.3% transgender women... which isn't going to destroy woman's sports.
When they start giving the scholarship opportunities at beauty pageants to men...then I'm gonna call Fox News and demand action!

This is actually a very real issue for women athletes at every level. The entire genre of women's sports is at stake and very well may go away eventually. Women may just have to straight up compete with men in all sports including combat sports. I think the end game is to completely dissolve gender altogether along with biological science.

Since President Donald Trump's November election, hate incidents nationwide have increased—and now he's chosen a leader from one group that has itself espoused violence to represent the U.S. on the international stage.
Earlier this week, the State Department announced that representatives from infamous anti-LGBTQ hate group the Center for Family and Human Rights (C-FAM) and from the far-right Heritage Foundation will represent the U.S. at a United Nations conference on women's rights later this month:
As long as this country bombards us with Erectile Dysfunction advertising, but no equal, or corresponding time slot or broadcast amount of condom ads, the message is very clear, to men young and old in America:
"Guys, be ready for the moment, but that irritating std and pregnancy prevention stuff is up to that 'other' person." Promoting irresponsible sex ... then demonizing American women for the unpleasant consequences, is not pro-life, its frat house policy.
