How does one listen to the submissions these days?
There used to be a whole stream that just played the submissions but I can't find that anymore.
Is the expectation that folks who want to hear the submissions go listen on YouTube or SoundCloud?
Mm-hm. It really doesn't work well, at least for me. "Most Recent" is just random as far as I can tell, including an upload of mine from 4+ years ago.

The songs submission is probably a direct-to-bin affair. I can't say I would blame them for it. The number of submission must be staggering! They probably realized early on that they created themselves an endless source of (mostly) spam.
Hi, I submitted a song last week, but it's not showing up on the "Newest" list. Actually the most recent submission on this list is Led Zeppelin's "Ten Years Gone", featuring a 7-month old comment. Does this mean the submission system is on pause?
I haven't submitted anything for a long time but decided to try it again. How does this new system work? I suggested three tracks and one turned green. What does it mean? Can I edit a submission? I forgot to paste the lyrics. Is there a suggestion channel I can listen to like there used to be?

I had to take a break from submissions at some point in 2016 after numerous post-review 'sorries' with mostly positive ratings and a couple of adds that haven't received a single spin... and me just being way too invested in it. I've only returned earlier this year and I've had no new adds yet but hey I'll keep trying. I can take the 'sorries' now â they're certainly preferable to the 'maybe' purgatory (where one of my submissions from 2016 is still stuck with a poor showing of 12-15 ).
I just think the system isn't very efficient for finding and programming new stuff. They must have to really be more aggressive and seek out music rather than wait for it to come to them. I dunno. I submit about 3 a year.
