There is no need for that. Syrians (like everybody) could just ask for a refugee status and fly by plane to the Netherlands. You have to fill in some papers, wait for a while and then take the plane.

Oh, and you'll need your papers and Syrian government permission (expect...delays. Maybe detention and torture) to travel.
It's all so simple! Why didn't millions of refugees fleeing for their lives think of that? They could have saved themselves the trouble of walking hundreds of miles and risking a sea voyage that has already killed thousands of them.
Maybe you should go explain all this to them. I'm sure your advice would be welcome.
*This was for May 31. There are other international destinations: you can get to Khartoum, Bagdad, or Kuwait on June 1, or all the way to Oman or Basra on June 2. No flights scheduled June 3 or beyond.

Almost all are low educated. - Significant increase in social income requests, 75% of former syrian refugees receive social income (That doesn't say 25% has a job. If you are old, ill or handicapped you get a different social income which is not counted within this number)
Seems like the natural course of events to me: the culture of Turkey is a lot closer to what they're used to. Why subject themselves to the deprivations of further travel and abuse and hostility from people like you if they don't have to? After all, they didn't flee where they lived until it was a matter of life and death. This crisis is driven by war and oppression, not economics—or they would have come in their millions decades ago.
But I know a way to get ahead of this.
Set up processing stations in Turkey welcoming the talent you want. Give preference to them and let them in.

I had heard about Turkey keeping the skilled refugees and sending on the ones that would need benefits. Turkey really is out to screw Europe. Erdogan is now proclaiming that Muslims must never use contraception to keep birth rates high.

A best selling Algerian author warns that the “refugee welcome” culture is “naive,” and that Islam will fracture European society.
Algerian writer and best selling author Boualem Sansal paints a bleak vision of Europe’s future in his new work 2084: The End of the World, the title evoking George Orwell’s dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. Mr. Sansal sees a Europe —not governed by a totalitarian Big Brother as Mr. Orwell did, but rather — subjugated by radical Islam.
Promoting the book, the author warns that the “refugees welcome” attitude that Germans have shown is “completely naive,” and warns of the perils of radical Islam on European society in a new interview, reportsKronen Zeitung.
Mr. Sansal blames what he calls an overly tolerant society as the reason for his vision of the future of Europe. He says that in Germany in particular that the experiences of the Second World War have made the nation an easy prey for Islamists. This is old news. About a month ago Europe started to make a plan B involving billions for Greece in return for large refugee centres. Also the flow of immigrants back to Turkey has stopped already 2-3 days after the start of the big master plan. There is no collaboration with Turkey for months now and the initial plan is already death well before the reaching a final agreement with Turkey.

What about the thousands of messages from Turkish or Moroccan people saying really bad things about jews and western countries? That selfie-girl was not an accident. It's more uncommon to see a Turkish Facebook page without any super-negative comments about western countries and Israel.
