A little friendly banter was no big deal, it was a construction site after all: snowflakes need not apply. However her boss, also a woman, personally fired several guys for repeated 'inappropriate gestures'. Particularly one poor idiot who used Spanish for his catcalls: she instructed him, in perfect Spanish, to hand over his badge on the spot. Security walked him out. Oops. Always know your audience...

I'm starting to see a pattern in that when the man in question is even remotely on the liberal spectrum, he admits his wrongdoing and makes an attempt at apologizing. If he is conservative, he denies that it ever occurred. Interesting.

The worrisome part to me is that it seems only the Republicans have figured this out. I have a pretty good record of not liking either party, but wanting a healthy opposition. If the Dems get run out for admitting their crimes while the party feels righteous in upholding their ideals, then you'll just be left with a bunch of laughing Republicans who will continue to deny and deflect while trashing the place. 

It's going to take a while to rebuild what has already been sullied, some on the opposition party better figure some stuff out before next november.
