Then I must not be a right winger because I really like CS&N and even Y (sometimes).

I feel so much better knowing this.

Thanks !

I bet you (and many others here) find it inconceivable that I could even work harmoniously with a black person or any person belonging to any minority group considering all the things that you have said about me over the years.

You just assume that a "black person or any person belonging to any minority group" would be able to work harmoniously with you once they became familiar with your beliefs?

No.  Not at all.  I bet that you are nicer than many of us.

Interesting because at the beginning of this I thought acetylcholinesterase receptor differences played into this. (For instance, ACE inhibitors work less well in the Black population so they're not the best starting point for antihypertensives.)

Moving on speaking of receptor differences.

I just recently heard that one of the shortcomings of the Western mrna types of vaccines for CV is that they are only designed or capable of dealing with a few types of the protein receptors spikes of the SARs - 2 virus.  Ironically the more traditional Chinese vaccine with a lower efficacy rate may be better in the long run because it deals with a much wider variety of the various protein receptors and with that, better suited to deal with new mutations.

I am recalling this from an interview I heard a few days ago. I do not know enough about the subject to say one way or the other.  Just throwing it out there for consideration by the more learned.

so since you state she is in good health, what was the point in calling out her race?

It was a good point.    Black American health outcomes ARE a factor in this pandemic.

Time to stop pussy footing around issues of race

The lady took a test (over the previous weekend ?) that came back negative.  She worked Monday was barely able to function, came in Tuesday when I worked with her, said she was feeling better (a little bit) but by the end of the day she had one of the most profound coughs I have ever heard.  Took off Thursday and Friday and we got word today, Saturday, that she was hospitalized with CV.  So by Monday 6 days will have passed.  She was vaccinated, J & J, but not sure.  She is black, mid 50's and relatively healthy overall.

I am doing the coffee can sniff test.  As long as I can still smell it, I will remain optimistic. As with the last exposure, both the wife and I will be tested.  The wife is Moderna X 3.  I'm Moderna X 2.

So... Now you're saying vaccines do work? Iirc you were also saying that masks don't work but I'm guessing you still wear one in public. Are you down on social distancing as well?

You also seem to blame Biden for his handling of Covid but

Somehow

forget that Trump's lies, incompetence and politicization of Covid greatly contributed to our current pandemic problems.

Thank you.  Got a test scheduled @ CVS for Monday at 7.30 pm. Soonest available.

Exposure to valid test, typically 5-7 days. You can do one sooner, but you might not be expressing enough virus for the Qtip to find it.
My sister got sick with a negative test which was positive two days later.

I'm sure the feeling of desperation and finality make it horrible. When I was five, I fell into a pool and went straight to the bottom. Wells, I got my booster (Pfizer) and my seasonal flu shot yesterday evening.

So I figured I would have my booster on my dominant side because I know the flu
shot hurts. They both hurt my shoulders about the same but I'm not getting any
other kind of side effects. By tonight I'll be back to "normal" Ha ha ha - normal.
I waiting a long time before getting my covid because I hoping I would catch it
and just say write me up as DNR.
