Another important point to note about the election is that America houses over 75 million at least Nazis by far the most of any country in the world and at the same time has the largest Jewish population in the world, Ukraine is the only country that even comes close to that number of Nazis which I reckon is why we love them so much and at the same time we are also the Jewish culture headquarters even more than Israel. Proving once again the United States is the true melting pot of diversity. We should give ourselves a pat on the back!
Edit: Another fun fact is that Israel is the "woke" progressive ultra liberal capital of the world. Just another bit of info to promote pause and reflection.

No no: you don't get to hide behind that "oh both parties are evil" crap. It's going to get a lot worse for the Palestinians because people are going to make money off of their suffering when Trump takes office. And most of us won't hear or care about it.
It seemed to be mostly universal (a few exceptions) and bipartisan genuflection when genocidaire Netanyahu spoke in Congress.
It makes zero difference to the Palestinians. The US will continue to abet and cover for genocide.
Oh, it'll make a difference to the Palestinians. The press will stop covering the fighting, Gazans will starve en masse (they're on the verge of it now), and Trump will give Israel carte blanche to turn the rubble into dust.
But hey, if you're lucky, Jared Kushner will be able to get in on his great idea to turn the Palestinian coastal areas into high-end luxury!

This does bring up an ugly truth for people who didn't vote for Harris because of her support for Israel: Trump's going to be far worse for Palestinians. Israel is rejoicing over Trump's win.

I thought that you were leaving the country. One of the few who would actually do it if Trump got elected.
I never said that. I did say I'm happy to have options if it becomes necessary. I'm actually probably poised to do better economically with t in place, but I would prefer a platform of broader stability and help for those that really need it. c'est la vie, those that needed the support didn't really show up, and there were not enough people with my mindset to make up the difference.
The country has been on this trajectory for a while now. It's clearly split pretty much 50/50. And I'm closer to your thought now that it's irreconcilable differences. So the question is do we continue in this slugfest, or do we find a way to separate amicably, you know - for the children.
yeah, but option 2 requires so little discipline and feels so much better!?
seriously, even though most of us did not want trump as president, even many who voted for him, here we are.
Given that, what can we do to make this situation as positive as it could be, for all of us?
For all of us? That's going to be pretty difficult because the GOP will be devising neat new ways to implement the intersection between kleptocracy and plutocracy.
@black321: in re your prior comment about Trump, Biden and tariffs: Trump proposed 20% tariffs on all imported goods IIRC, in order to raise revenue. That's on an entirely different scale of protectionism compared to what Biden or Trump I did.
