You are aware that we went into Libya at France's request because their refineries were dependent on Libya's special light sweet crude ?  If it wasn't for that, there would have been no urgency to go into Libya at all, and the area would not necessarily be destabilized as it is now.  We certainly had no interest in Libya's oil.  It was all the EU and specifically France.

You need to read up and learn more about crude oil, the types and the processes and who has what processes available to refine which crude.

The fact that we became a net exporter means absolutely nothing to you and your friends.  Instead you redefine reality to suit the needs of your arguments, which is how the left in general works to keep their narrative alive.  Energy independence means that we are on equal footing with the rest of the world and had real leverage for the first time in managing our needs without having to rely on our enemies for crude.  If the Keystone were finished we would not need the enemy's crude, they would need us more than ever to refine their crude which no one else in the West has any major capabilities to do it.  Also we could always reconfigure our present refineries if needed.

You need to understand the real scope of how oil works and does not.  I knew everything above without having to look it up.  Go ahead and debunk me.  It should be easy.

Trump got it turned around in a year and we ended up 100% energy independent for the first time in our history before his first term was over.

The US economy is currently the envy of the world.  Yes, prices are high, but they are everywhere on the planet.  The "going back to the Trump years" idea if clueless fantasy, but we seem to be too stupid as a population to appreciate how things work. 

We used to make fun our our grandparents "bread was a nickel", "milk was a quarter", commentary... and now we say the same shit... "a pizza was $5".... " a big Mac was $2"... Right now, the economy is quite strong. Some prices are still high but inflation overall is back to normal. Illegal immigration has slowed to a trickle thanks to Biden's deals with Mexico to detain more immigrants entering that country. The ACA works although it could stand some improvement. 

Under Trump, the US has nowhere to go but down. While Donnie gets older and more senile over the next four years.
