Subject matter- I'm speaking on the phone; regular cell, large provider. We're discussing left-hand threads on certain rotating components on bicycles or other applications and I'm explaining how to read the thread lay. Voices on a phone. Obscure subject. There has been no computer activity; no searches at all on the subject. Just a conversation yesterday with someone working on a bicycle. This morning as I'm on computer reading news and so on, I'm getting pop-up ads for left-hand taps and dies, etc. This is happening with increasing frequency. Voice activity... When I was a kid in elementary school in the early to mid 60's and learning about the industrial age (yes, they actually taught stuff back then even though I was often sleeping or dreaming or both) they taught that the future would be the information age. Gosh I just couldn't wrap my distracted mind around that. It was in the days before ADD was a thing. Fast forward and I'm out of the service and learning electronics in community college and how to read current flow using right hand/left hand rule. Screws nuts and bolts. Machine threads and electrical currents. Artificial intelligence. Dreams. ADD. Obscurity. So many things...
Dear OV, I work in digital advertising. When I tell you how much is known about you by media and tech companies it makes Fahrenheit 451 and Minority Report look like old issues of Boys' Life. Even if you didn't watch tv and used a rotary phone. Sigh. My apologies for being part of the problem. SB

I suppose there's a difference in shooting at something and shooting for it. To truly be present and aware goes beyond ones static understanding of self and into the projected realm of selflessness. That is ultimately Christ's message. Inhabiting hope for forgiveness and deliverance from darkness in order to grow a tomorrow for our children's children. Purely idealistic, I'm sure I know, but... to give into a worldview that requires no discipline; where anything goes; where thoughts and mindsets aided by technology and materialism effect fear and divisions and wars within and without...That will erase all that has been learned and built upon for mankind's entirety; all for the sake of pride, our undoing falling down like one stone from another until the mansion is but dust...
