I've been watching these events unfold over the last week or so and now today there is an estimated one million people in party mood on the streets of Cairo, being called the million man march. President Mubarak has to leave, that's quite clear. Not sure whyb he thinks by changing his government things would change in his favour, it's clear the people of Egypt want him out and I'm sure it's a matter of when rather than if he does.

It's still very unclear who will replace him, the bbc seems to be leaning towards Mohamed ElBaradei as he is often seen as the spokesperson for the people on the ground but then when you hear the interviews of the people they seem to be rejecting the muslim brotherhood as a new government but Mohamed ElBaradei has the backing of the brotherhood which brings about more confusion. What I find most refreshing is that these people have had the guts to get up and say they've had enough, that it doesn't take another country to go in and bomb the hell out of a place. People power pure and simple. The military have confirmed they won't shoot at their own people which I believe gives them further strength to reach their goal. I hope the Egyptians get the government they want and deserve. Whatever happens now, the middle east is changed forever and I have the feeling there is much more to come. The king of Jordan has sacked his parliament in the last few hours after some protests but again, I feel they will want him to go before they stop, these people want change, they want to be able to have free speach, they want democracy. I hope they get what they want.
