OK Think I found a bug.
SPECIFICS: iPad Air4
IOS 15.6.4
When playing the music I hit the preferences image (spokes) which brings up the quality of sound, audio settings. I have mine set at high, but when I selected the medium and then the high I got a half second overlap of the music for each causing an echo chamber effect.
When I hit the pause it kept playing. Found out I had to go to each stream quality I selected and pause each one to stop the music.
Iâm good at trouble shooting, Quality Assurance and breaking things.
New site is nice. I like the blog and new song writeup. I thought Rebecca sounded different on the station breaks, and now I know why. A pleasure to meet you, Alanna. I am on the mobile site now, so I'll let yinz finish tweaking the interface before commenting. Tho does look nice. The font works well, too
I know that things online have evolved away from early-2000s-style forums like this one. We've considered the idea of a Discord server, and may go that route. But no worries, Forum Friends, we'll maintain this forum as well if we do.
You are more than welcome!
Did you consider Discourse, instead of Discord, as well? - I wonder...
I'd hoped you would have changed that (there have been many laments over the years on some shortcomings of this current forum-implementation). Although forums may seemingly be somewhat out-of-date, or merely used by old-timers (when compared to FB, Twitter and the like), there's still quite an active, growing branch of many forums, running on Discourse (Discourse-Home) integrating well without any hastle of pasting things from other media, visibly structured forum topics, uploads & like-buttons included in a fashionable way, and much more.
Come to think of it:
It could just be another way of attracting many more listeners!
Just mentioning, not knowing how hard this could have been at all for you folks, to integrate it into your website, but with Jarro as dev-head, it should be a breeze, me tends to think.
Just a friendly suggestion, not meaning to interfere with any of your plans, dear RP team!
So glad, you found a way to pass "it" (your legacy) on, @dear William (aka BillG),
and a BIG BIG BIG:

Tried again.
First I said yes to accepting the credit card fee, but it didnt jump to paypal.
Tried again and said no to the the credit card fee, it did go to paypal and completed the payment.
Is it possible that you hadn't refreshed that tab recently when you started the payment that failed? That should be fixed now.
Song comments ... still don't accept youtube embeds. If it's by design, fine, but it sure feels like a bug. Song comments ... the popup box is many pixels high, but clicking in the comment area does nothing: you have to know to click in the white just below the toolbar. I had to go to HTML to figure that out.
We do not want YouTube embeds in song comments, for lots of reasons. So yeah, that's by design.
I just tried the song comments post editor for the first time, and it definitely needs more than a little work. Minor stuff, but it looks really weird ATM.
Have I mentioned my loathing for PayPal lately? Nothing personal towards anyone who works there, or anyone who happily uses their service. They do a perfectly acceptable job at everything with the massive, glaring exception of their API and merchant tools. I have a huge list of things that I can do in seconds on Stripe and GoCardless (our other two main processors) that take long, painful hours with PayPal.
The payment system is the last part of our public web stuff that I'm personally responsible for coding & maintaining, and I am very much looking forward to handing that one off too. I'd much rather be a DJ! I'm so much better at that...
Gotta say that I sure like the new font we're using for the forum (& basically everything else). Very clean.

Some things are pretty much the same, like the forum.

Jarred (aka jarro) is working on that. I'm seeing some comments via email notifications, but not all of them evidently, since I didn't see yours.
The comment system is hosted by a third party company and we're still working out some kinks. Should be a very sweet system once we have it tweaked properly. In theory it will be a better fit for extended in-depth conversations than the forum.

Politely skeptical, yet appreciative of your hard work on this re-design/upgrade as well as your superlative DJing.
Ah, jeez. Paypal is the least-tested part of the new setup, since I can't test using our Paypal account. I'll investigate right away.
OK. Found the PayPal issue. Should be OK now.

Hmm, I attempted to make a modest contribution via paypal.
First, the additional amount for the credit card fee didn't take.
Second, once I hit confirm on paypal, it took me back to the main Support RP page, with the payment options.
I confirmed my paypal account was not charged.
