everyone should have a look at wolfram alpha
interesting, fun and helpful
apparently some are diddling with the open ai chat interface and using wolfram as one of the sources
potentially a fantastic tool
none of this should be considered investment advice (see proper disclaimers below the vids)
i have always recommend getting that advice from a trusted professional
nor do i endorse any of the numerous people hosting emad conversations
if people want to understand the tools that are here and the tools that coming regarding this type of ai these vids might be a good place to start
how this is being developed and given away and the exponential growth/speed of these tools/models is truly remarkable
emad is a brilliant guy on a mission to level the playing field and opportunity to build/create what he calls models
pushing this to tech to the edge v the middle is a bold move and creativity is about to into warp drive
for better or worse, i also can agree his reasons and concerns are valid
if i were you, i'd search for his conversations and listen carefully
enjoy
Ignoring content and automatically posting 5-star reviews doesn't sound like AI... it sounds like an if/then statement within process automation code.
Yeah it's the companies that call it AI; they have access to a database and can sometimes know what vehicle the person bought or repaired so it will mention that, but it's all just programming.
It doesn't post all 5-star reviews, but it seems to identify certain phrases and says "welp, that's good!" and posts it. So if you start out with "everyone was very friendly and helpful..." and then proceed to say how everything else is terrible, that's a combination that says "Post it!"
If somebody gives our company a good review in the middle of the night, a robot answers it and sometimes posts it online. It's usually pretty good AI; every reply is slightly different and responds in a way that usually sounds like it read what was said. Fun fact: If you absolutely ROAST a company in your review but give them 5 stars, the robots will thank them and post that to your facebook page.

The OpenAI interactions are still very basic. They are crazy impressive with certain coding languages (wonder why?), but when you get away from Google-type searches, it starts to fail pretty easily. Painting, poetry, etc are fun, but real intelligence comes from creating correct output that can be verified or investigated, not just appreciated.
OpenAI's dalle2 or Midjourney are fun to play on and create "artwork". Like this from Midjourney...the last selfie ever taken:
i've asked about some business stuff that i'm familiar with and it surprised me

on another note i asked it to write the lyrics to a manbird song:
Verse 1:
I'm a manbird, soaring through the sky
My wings are strong and my heart is high
I've got the freedom to roam and explore
And I'll never be chained to the ground anymore
Chorus:
Manbird, manbird, flying so high
I'm a creature of the sky
Manbird, manbird, I'm free as can be
I'm a manbird, and this is me
Verse 2:
I'm a manbird, and I sing my song
To the world below, I belong
I don't need a cage or a tether
I'm a manbird, and I'm better
Chorus:
Manbird, manbird, flying so high
I'm a creature of the sky
Manbird, manbird, I'm free as can be
I'm a manbird, and this is me
Bridge:
I'm a creature of the wind and the clouds
I dance on the air, and I shout out loud
I'm a manbird, and I'm wild and free
I'm a manbird, and this is me
Chorus:
Manbird, manbird, flying so high
I'm a creature of the sky
Manbird, manbird, I'm free as can be
I'm a manbird, and this is me.
Try again
going to put Billie Eilish out of a job (or finneas?)
a bit scary
when i used to teach about 10 ya, i had a hard enough time with plagiarism,
not to mention the other issues with this type of tech.

One of the industryâs favorite maxims is that humans are terrible drivers. This may seem intuitive to anyone whoâs taken the Cross Bronx Expressway home during rush hour, but itâs not even close to true. Throw a top-of-the-line robot at any difficult driving task, and youâll be lucky if the robot lasts a few seconds before crapping out.
