So where does this fall on the partisanship spectrum?
Hey @elonmusk, why is it no longer possible to have a Ukrainian number verify a Twitter account/two-factor authentication. Ukraine is not in your list of countries, see our screenshot.
As for the partisan content...are you referring to the outage (which affected a lot of users in a lot of places) or the conspiracy theories that popped up immediately after people started reporting this? Should we assume that the man who provided Starlink internet service (and hardware) to Ukraine and it's military for free for months is now trying to make the country disappear from the world conversation?
And now he appears to just not be paying his bills:
Twitter is reportedly not paying rent for its offices as Musk warns users to âbeware of debtâ
Which is undoubtedly a bold/outside the box strategy to helping the bottom line, but I don't think it counts as business genius until we see if there might be some consequence to these actions.
Clearly a partisan act. No other possible explanation. This clearly shows his bias against...um...
We know it's a strategy, but is it a smart one? The don tended to do this in secret and threatened people who sued him with years of court battles so the info wouldn't become public. This gave him some cover while he went forward and screwed more vendors and banks before his reputation became more widespread. Elon just announced to the world that contracts and commitments mean little to him. Are you going to be the next guy to extend credit to him now?
Yeah, yeah, he's made billions so he's clearly a genius. Never mind the billions he's lost for him and his investors as well. As long as we are on the winning side none of it matters.

Part of my fascination with Twitter is the heavy use modern journalists make of the social media platform. It does appear to play an agenda setting role that historically was reserved for well-financed elite media like the New York Times.
So, imagine that Twitter somehow fails and fades into irrelevance. What will take Twitter's place in the media agenda setting role?
In recent years, it would appear that news agencies have taken up something of an agenda setting role (thanks again to the Internet). The news agencies, however, function very differently from elite media and a platform like Twitter.
Moving on ... So is everyone ok that shadow banning at Twitter is no longer a CT ?
Gosh maybe Twitter also tried to fix the 2020 battleground state votes and create fake Electors and get DOJ to nullify the election and commit seditious conspiracy and overthrow our democracy.
But let's just whack off over Hunter's laptop. That's the real story.
It is more than Hunter's laptop. Umm, the former FBI agent, whose name I forget that ended up working for Twitter was basically a direct link back to the FBI, one of many but the primary one.
Private companies recently hired a LOT of former FBI and CIA officials, primarily because of their experience in dealing with foreign governments and disinformation. It doesn't mean that the government is conspiring with Twitter. I guess we can assume that Truth Social colludes with Congressional Republicans via Nunes. Hmmmm.... maybe you're right about this stuff after all.
Just a quick question...How does it affect your life one way or the other? It certainly doesn't change mine one iota. What was it that buzz used to say about not sweating the small stuff and not petting the sweaty stuff or something like that. Life is way too short, D!
In as much as he controls one of the largest social media platforms on the planet in an era in which that matters, yeah, it matters. That makes it kinda big stuff.
