Just when you thought Australian politics couldn't get any weirder:

It’s Not Every Day An Australian Senator Threatens To Literally Finger The Prime Minister


“I threatened Tony Abbott to shirtfront him about this issue… I’m so determined to give these people a voice… I am prepared to go and squirrel grip, the prime minister,” said Lazarus, according to The Australian.

“If that doesn’t work I’ve got other things up my sleeves such as the grapple tackle, the chicken wing and even the crusher tackle. If that doesn’t work I’m prepared to use the Hopoate tackles.”

There are 6 or 7 presently in the NBA, only one other is in the play-offs, Andrew Bogut from Golden State.

That's cool. I think it is great that sports are becoming more international. There is a down-side though - big news here when an Australian baseball player was killed in Oklahoma.

Basketball is a minor sport here but growing; Aussies will take part in practically any sport. My little suburb even has a baseball team.

We are also trying to recruit US basketball players for Australian Rules Football. Big strong blokes with good hands make good ruckmen. And the new generation who can run fast as well are changing the sport.

I heard that no human is ever more than 6 feet away from a spider.....ever!  Don't know if that is true or not, heard it on an episode of Law and Order SVU.{#Lol}

I saw a demo at a wildlife centre in Alice Springs (the Palm Springs of Australia?) so I'm sure there are options for that. I didn't think you could hunt though.

My ex gf flew a goshawk there. I'm sure she did it legally because she a professional animal trainer and wouldn't jeopardize her career. She must have had a special license.
