let me get out in front here and say happy thanksgiving!

i'm thankful for a lot

especially the people responsible for radio paradise and those who appreciate it

and that includes the collective digital droppings and all the trimmings

made a lot of friends here

other than eating, sleeping and scratching, my plan is to do nothing or as much of nothing as i can possibly do for the next four days

On this Thanksgiving, I'd like to say... Thank you, Bill and Rebecca, for forming RP and for playing wonderful music that brings people in from all over the world to listen and share themselves. Thank you for no advertisements and only gentle requests for support. Thank you for being a part of the community without being authoritarian. Thank you for an environment that brought love into my life when it was the last thing I was expecting or seeking. :goodvibes:

Last year the International Students Organization at my university invited us international students for a Thanksgiving dinner. I thought that they've booked a hall or something and we'll have something of a traditional fare. So imagine my surprise when I reached there only to discover that we were invited to a Chinese buffet restaurant! But to their credit, there was one turkey... of course it was stripped to its bones by the time I reached there.

Can't help it. My DNA is one twisted pair.
