It's heavy man, real heavy. Literally, those three 180 gram LPs are to be handled with two hands.
On first listen of the LPs I thought there must be something wrong with my turntable. The volume is real low compared to the CD, that's both the 1997 and the 20th Ann CDs.
Audiophiles always complian about the "loudness wars" on CDs and now I see what they mean but it's no big deal, I just turned the volume up on the LP or down for the CD.
On first listen I was not happy with the LP but into the 3rd listen and my ears have readjusted to analog after listening to the original a few hundred times and I love it. It sounds as if there is space between all the instruments and vocals.
The CD is dynamic, I am going to do a side by side listen with the 1997 version. For example the backround sounds in "Exit Music (For A Film)" are very obvious now.
Do you have a 1997 version? If so give it a good listen before Monday, or maybe Tuesday. {#Wink}

Got the '97 CD. Will do. {#Cheers}

About the volume being real low on the LP versus CD, here's an interesting article on that:

$8 for shipping. Ouch. I just  checked Amazon.ca and I can get a new one shipped from the Netherlands or UK for about $8 total. Don't know how they make money.

I pre-ordered the OK Computer 20th Ann, Thrusday they sent me a download of their song "I Promise" which was produced at the same sessions but didn't make it on the abum.
They have been doing it live for quite awhile and fans know it,
It is included with other outtakes on a seperate disc

And there's more, Radiohead is releasing a 20th Anniversary of "OK Computer", includes all the bells and whistles that one would expect.
It is to be released on June 23, the same day that they will play the Glastonbury Festival which leads to speculation that they might perform the entire album,

Here is Thom Yorke's "The Eraser" by Christian Scott who uses an unvoiced tone, which he calls his "whisper technique."

The article would have been more interesting if I knew who those people are (my ignorance)
I did find it interesting that some club dj's use "OK Computer" for sampling
I'd like to hear what they do to it
as for me I love "OK Computer", I think it is Radiohead's "Revolver"

"Could its inclusion have been inspired by Thom Yorke's real life breakup with his longtime partner? Are its lyrics ("Just don't leave, don't leave") now a peek into a personal life that is usually totally obscured?

Or, could its inclusion be a signal that the guys in the band are ready to close the book on Radiohead?"
