Not an answer. Would you vote for Trump or Pete? You posit that Trump supporters are so opposed to Biden - but what if it's not that matchup?
Would you still support twice-impeached "fine people on both sides" Jan 6 "will be WILD" Trump?

I didn't see a question being asked other than, "then what ?" and then you answered it yourself so I took it as rhetorical.  My bad.

So now you ask a new question.  I would vote for Trump over Mayor Pete, who thinks that roads and bridges are racist.  Without hesitation.

I am not opposed to someone on "my side" rising up to be a strong and viable alternative to Trump.  Don't see one anywhere though.

On my watch / wish list are Ramaswamy, Scott and Suarez.  I know, I know ... how could a racist even consider anyone of these "people of color" from the racist white supremacist non diverse GOP ?  Gosh, it's a toughy IKR ?

And then back to Pete.  How about those flights ?

So if, as some have posed, there's a young military veteran, politically experienced and well-spoken Dem (not Kamala) waiting in the wings to run against Trump, then what? Buttigieg vs Trump - FIGHT!

Speaking of Secretary Buttigieg ...

Buttigieg ‘glad’ for federal audit on his use of government planes

02/27/2023 04:05 PM EST

The inspector general that oversees the Transportation Department is auditing Pete Buttigieg’s use of government planes since becoming Transportation secretary — a move Buttigieg says he welcomes to help blunt what he called “misleading narratives” from conservatives about whether he abuses them.

“Glad this will be reviewed independently so misleading narratives can be put to rest,” Buttigieg tweeted.

Meanwhile since ...

FAA sued by government watchdog for delaying release of Buttigieg's flight records

June 15, 2023 12:21 PM

Americans for Public Trust, according to the federal lawsuit, filed three information requests in the past eight months asking how often Buttigieg and colleagues used his agency’s government-managed jets and how much taxpayer money was spent on those private flights. The group told Fox News its requests for the records were repeatedly delayed.

"Pete Buttigieg abused taxpayer dollars by using a private jet to fly domestically and internationally," said Caitlin Sutherland, executive director of APT. "Buttigieg’s FAA has stonewalled and refused to adhere to the law for releasing public records, so we’re filing suit on behalf of all Americans who deserve to know how their money is being spent by this administration.”

APT’s lawsuit filing said more than 100 days have passed since the FAA acknowledged the group’s requests, violating the Freedom of Information Act. Federal agencies, according to FOIA, must provide requested documents within 20 to 30 working days.

I assumed your answer would focus on anything besides facts, because you have none.

Being a RINO has nothing to do with politics; it's anyone who disagrees with the leader.  You're not a member of a political party Kurt...it's a cult.

Trump had 2 years of control over the house, the senate, and the oval office.  He did NOTHING to stop immigration, other than sign a few orders that can be canceled by the next guy in the chair.  NOTHING.  Blame everyone else, because that's what he does.  The deep state, Soros, illegal immigrants, Antifa....none of them could have stopped him from building the wall during 2017 and 2018.   He failed.

I saw it and it is a serious misrepresentation of the chain of events as it ignores all the opposition from both sides of the aisle to implement Trump's border policies. So I gave it no credence and no reply until you bring it up again thinking that Christie has it all right and you can use it as a republican calling out Trump.  Funny how the oppo has to resort to using long discredited rino's to support a POV that appears to come from within the party.  It doesn't.  It is self serving.

Trump had to resort to finding money in other places, like the military budget to fund the wall for openers.  Both sides of Congress were opposed to his plans.  The only support came from the minority Freedom Caucus.  Remember that walls are racist ?  Biden inherited ton's of fence material to keep the wall being built.  Instead, he scrapped it.

What was one of the first things Biden did when taking office ?  Reversed all of Trump's immigration policies, which were working just fine.  That is how we got to where we are today.

And why are all the Sanctuary Cities bitching so much when all the people they embraced actually show up and take them up on their offers ?  We've had 5 million new arrivals since Biden took office.  They have to go somewhere and that they are.  Now it's NIMBY.  So much for virtue signaling.  Can't walk the talk when you get what you ask for.

Well, isn't that special... you lumped in all of Trump's debacles (incitement of insurrection, failed COVID response, paying off porn stars, retaining top secret documents, connecting release of aid to asking a foreign government to look into the background of a political rival's family... et all) together as "faults". And I'm guessing that... in your world... Trump's "box of faults" is pretty much equal to Biden's "box of faults"? Pretty much the same right?

I think you also have a myopic view of "so called" Biden supporters of which I'm sure you count me as one. I can only speak for myself, but I don't have some great love of "Biden" per se, but I'm driven by the fact that America cannot weather another 4 years of Trump. So, if my choice is Trump vs Biden or Trump vs (Anyone). I am going to choose/support the right side of the ledger. Every time.

AFAICT, Trump supporters are largely against Biden because he supports moderate immigration levels, minority groups facing various forms of discrimination and large government programs to address major structural issues in the economy.

You like to point out Biden's age. Trump is only two years younger and is behaving in an irrational and self-destructive manner. His judgment in economics and politics and IR—outside of thinking of ways to stir up his base—is very poor.

Trump haters hate Trump because he was an incompetent President. He promoted the welfare of the rich over the middle and working classes, had an incoherent immigration policy, dismissed global warming—the biggest crisis we face—as a hoax, bitterly divided the country, utterly failed to contain Covid and the economic fallout, alienated our allies,

TRIED TO OVERTHROW THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND

dropped himself into seriously deep legal $h-t because he wanted to hold onto a grab-bag of federal documents.

Oh, yes: Trump's also a compulsive liar and fantasist. But he is a WORLD-CLASS GRIFTER.

All Trump has to offer is a delusional notion of the way America used to be. He was out of the past in 2016. He's an absolute fossil in 2023.

Life full of scandals? Corrupt for decades? Do tell... and make the story entertaining!

In no particular order: Trump had to use two hands to drink a glass of water, didn't know how to use an umbrella so he just ditched it outside of Airforce One, doesn't have a clue (and doesn't care) about how the U.S. Government works or any government for that matter, doesn't have a 5th grade's grasp of American or world history, tried to buy or swap Greenland for Puerto Rico, suggested we could inject Clorox inro our bloodstream to fight COVID, mishandled the COVID response, didn't practice COVID safety standards and held COVID spreading events at the White House resulting in his getting COVID as well, doesn't know the difference between NATO & NAFTA, tripped on an up ramp at West Point, lies constantly and continues to lie about his election loss, incited an insurrection, continued to retain classified documents in unsecured areas after telling the government that he returned them all, bragged about grabbing woman's privates, fired or pushed out any "advisor" who ultimately disagreed with him and has been impeached twice and indicted twice.

An actual transcript of one of his many incoherent speeches can be found below:

“Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart —you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you’re a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.”

..."brilliant"!

Yup, this sure sounds like the best choice to elect as president again.

FYI, a vote for Trump is a vote to f*ck over our country... again!

Excellent points. Let's also remember that Trump very nearly died from Covid. Only extraordinary and mostly untried medical steps saved his life. And then he exposed others like Secret Service agents to his Covid by insisting on being driven around the hospital grounds while he was recovering.

KURT: You seriously want to claim that Biden is gaga? Kevin McCarthy could tell you a different story.

And do you really think Trump is mentally fit? After he's pretty punched his own ticket to prison?

Trump knew he had government documents after leaving office. Let's give him a mulligan and assume that as he was leaving, he didn't know that some of them were top-secret or classified, etc.

The federal government asked for the documents back. His lawyers told Trump he had to give them back, that the documents weren't his to keep. He was told that he hadn't declassified the documents in his possession—even if he had, they were still the property of the federal government.

The feds asked for months for the return of the documents. Trump lied and tried to get away with handing only some of them back. He was subpoenaed. He tried to hide the documents. He showed them off and talked about them—even the ones related to our national security—to people without security clearance.

He's facing very serious charges because he was stubborn and incredibly stupid. He could have quietly photocopied or photographed the documents and returned the originals. As former President, he could have alternatively returned the documents and used his security clearance to look at then again.

Trump totally screwed himself over. He is clearly senile. He may be suffering from frontotemporal dementia, one symptom of which is poor judgment in real-world situations.

If Hillary had done this as an ex-President, you and other Repubs would be screaming for her crucifixion.

The man is ambivalent about being POTUS. He's just there to ride it out and check off boxes along the way. He was nothing more than a waterboy his entire political career. And even more pressing is staying in power so he can do everything he can to keep his life full of scandals from finally catching up with him. Oh and before you try a whataboutism with Trump and his scandals, Joe committed all of his scandals while in public office. Trump's were all as a private citizen, such as they were, but that is a much different situation than being a corrupt elected official for decades.

But to stay on point, the man who tries to shake hands with invisible people, doesn't know how to read a teleprompter (actually that is all he can do, he can't tell the difference between what he is supposed to say aloud and the stage directions that are not to be spoken), and is confused about how to exit after speeches and what not has clearly and obviously lost a great deal of his mental functions / capabilities. And with all of his falling, how long before he breaks a hip ? The last one where he tripped over a sandbag ? after speaking ... the people tending him made some glaring mistakes when picking him up, simply because of his age and history. With someone at Joe's age and history of falling he is supposed to be left on the ground and assessed before even trying to stand him up. Specifically to see if he broke his hip or something else like a blackout or stroke. Instead they grabbed him and got him offstage and out of sight lickety split. Kinda reminds one of the lengths taken to hide FDR's conditions from the public.

There ain't no way in hell that he completes a second term. If that is not already obvious to you, then please share some of your Pixie Dust©. If Biden is re elected, Harris is going to be POTUS sometime in the near future afterwards. Whether or not Biden will be able to finish his first term is questionable.

A vote for Joe is really a vote for Kamala. I don't know why that is so hard to understand, considering the obvious realities.

FYI, a vote for Trump is a vote to f*ck over our country... again!
