Really. I've met several people who seem convinced of the greatness of that diet, but the concept seems counter-intuitive to me also; living without dairy (i.e.: cheese) and pasta doesn't seem much like "living" to me, but I'm of Italian descent. Like just about everything else, I guess it's about moderation and disciplines.
