A worthy thing to protest. Just watched a program on a channel called Viceland here in the states about methaqualone in South Africa today and its role during Apartheid. Hamilton's Pharmacopeia. It went into many things and brought up Project Coast and a certain Dr Bossa. I find it disturbing that you would associate Trump with Apartheid though.
Project Coast ... a very disturbing event ... hopefully you can see this across the pond. A funny thing that I just remembered, from sources long ago, Quaaludes were introduced onto college campuses during the early 70's by the Nixon Administration to make us protesters too loaded to protest. They were first introduced in Boston and Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. I have a first hand source for this little tidbit. I was a student at Kent State, one of the target campuses back in the day. It all makes even more sense now.

I admit that I did think about that in regards to trust or lack of trust of governments, but decided against that.
Discussing them serves no purpose at this point in time, especially in a thread like this one. I gave up on even mentioning them anymore a long time ago. Just gives others more ammo to summarily dismiss me.

So I had a teeth cleaning appointment yesterday and the technician wanted to chat about the election. I didn't know what party she supported...but found out near the end of the conversation when she asked me "What do you think about all the riots?"
"What riots?" I asked.
"You know, the anti-Trump riots all over the country" she offered.
I said, "Well, those aren't 'riots', they are protests".
"Oh no", she insisted, "they are rioting all over the country".
As she had her hands in my mouth with a drill I held that thought for a bit.
She continued, "I heard George Soros is paying the rioters to riot. Spit"
"That's not even happening", I insisted.

These are the reasons why people should be protesting....let's drop all the emotional grandstanding ("Not my president") crap, and start talking about the issues. Let's get ahead of these issues on environment, energy policy, civil liberties...before they start to steamroll them.
