Well, it's over. I know it. But I can't let go.

Feel like I've been shot; didn't fall down.

I've gotta a big chain around my neck.

Too bad; that would have been a good show.  I saw John Prine a few times back in my Chicago daze.  He and the late Steve Goodman were Chicago-area guys.

right now, i'm a bit obessed with ray lamontagne these days. go figure. this follows a weird period of obsession with winehouse and the black keys (ok, the black keys thing isn't so weird, and isn't so over yet, either. LOL)

i like it (the new cd.) but she's a bit too happy no?

yolatengo was eh ~ the sound was terrible. like really really bad. vocals were horrendous. it was too bad, b/c I dont really know them and I think I'd've really liked them. plus, i brought my friend's 14 year old daughter and she was turned off to them b/c the sound was so bad. which sux, 'cause it'd been neat for her to have really gotten to experience them.

and happy new year to you and yours two

ah, so sorry!

they're great. my chicago friend turned me on to them some 10 yrs ago.
