My first show was Poison and Warrant back in high school. My girlfriend at the time was decked out with big hair and chains and I had on my holey jeans. Good stuff.
My second show was decidedly better...Pink Floyd. An amazing show.

The acoustic Bob side has some AWESOME versions of songs.
I believe the photo on the cover was shot at the Spectrum.

It was funny about Taylor opening cuz I saw Tull at the Forum in LA in 71 do Aqualung and Taylor opened for them there, too. Was 10 rows up right behind and above the stage. Might as well have been onstage because we got to see everything that was going on.
Yes that night blew me away. Great concert

It took awhile to figure out. I've already posted something for a rock concert other than a HS concert. But other than an orchestra, this was the first one I ever went to. I was one of the kids in the audience not on the stage Berkeley Community Theatre, 1962 ... Saw JFK speak at the UC stadium that year, too.

At the High School I attended I saw concerts in the late 60's by The Crystals, The Animals and Roy Orbison. Went to Woodstock with a friend who just got his first car. We missed part of the first day. I saw Renaissance, Fleetwood Mac and Jethro Tull all in '71. Also saw The Guess Who at the Wisconsin State Fair in '72. The first concert I went to that wasn't at the High School was in '68 when I went to the Grant Park Bandshell in Chicago to see Muddy Waters and Sly and the Stoned Family. Muddy Waters was great but Sly never showed and a riot ensued ending rock concerts for decades there.

But by far, the best, the most life changing, the one that will live in my memory for years was....
1973 YES, touring Close to the Edge. Can't remember where I just put my car keys, but by the gods I can still sing the lyrics to Heart of The Sunrise.
