That is a pretty cool site. I'm in the same boat.  This is the last time I saw them.   If it had been a couple of years earlier when they still played baseball there I would have felt really bad about the condition we left the field in that the field was left in by us.  I felt just great about the condition we left the field in.

Oh, I saw a lot of shows. A lot. And yet, once I moved away, I started realizing what all I did NOT see that I could have. A person could make a full time job out of just going to essential shows.

After I moved back to Wyoming, I realized I had been living about 200 yards from Eli's Mile High Club. Iffy neighborhood; I guess I didn't explore (altho I walked the dog a lot, I just never put two and two together that that place was that place.

Came so close to going to a New Year's Eve show at the Oakland Coliseum ca 1982 but it was, like, twelve bucks or something and that was pretty outrageous.

Living in San Francisco and Oakland in the 80s, it was pretty hard to avoid Jorma or Bobby or Phil solo or sitting in with some local act unannounced. But I think I did it. My record is clean! Altho I also did almost go to a Mickey Hart show but it sold out before I resolved to check it out. I saw Vince Welnick of course (does that count? for or against?). Tubes, New Year's, Kabuki Theater SF. Girl at our table sent Fee Waybill a note and he told the cocktail waitress that her/our table drinks free all night. Can't imagine what she did for him to get Oh wait, yes I can. Give me a minute, now. Okay, I'm back. Jesus that was a LOT of Heineken.
