Apart from all that before-gone "unequivocal reasoning" I still strongly recommend listening to Afrika Radyo. Their selection of tunes is just for those wanting to listen to different tunes, treading off the beaten paths... (see my previous post).
Wishing for RP to enrich their (American?) scope through music recommendations which I have been givimg to this forum (in various forum-incarnations) for so many years hasn't solved it for me, as I live in Europe, and the marketing phrase of "off the beaten paths" (see RP Eclectic Mix) simply doesn't do it for me anymore, as a daily driver, and it's been like that for longer than I would have loved it to be.
(Still listening RP from their beginnings on, OMG!)
I suppose you could say that RP is "capitalism" but I don't think that's the best understanding of it. If BillG makes a profit, it is his business and can do so. But, to "fight back" against him...why would that make anyone a "hero against capitalism?"
And did "someone intervene?" That's for you to prove, not us. It's a wild swing that doesn't connect. You have to prove it first, not make someone here prove the opposite.
As I'm quite sure that you're capable of getting the latest news headlines, I am more than unsure that you are understanding where I was getting at in my previous post. Let's just leave it there...
*peace*
His front-end would work perfectly, even on the smallest computer/listening device, ever.
If you are computer-savvy, just check the resources eaten by your system playing "afrikaradyo" and compare them to the "normal RP player" site.
His "listenparadise" website was of the same make as his current 'only' one.
Did someone intervene to lead him to taking listenparadise.org down, eventually?
I did indeed mention it here as a positive example for web-programming in a previous incarnation on this forum.

Unfortunately, he took it down, among many other things he took down from the internet as fighting for Open Source in it's real meaning of terms, always ready to redraw his own code... somewhat of a hero against capitalism.
In regards to listening-options, AfrikaRadyo.com has become one of my favorite streams to listen to. Right after(!) the RP World & Eclectic Stream.
