It wasn't a dream, though the set was quite dreamy indeed. Late fall as I recall. There was a space and there was drinking and eating and talking and speaking. Truth to power, late was the hour. Music filled every molecule of air in the room which suddenly became hazy, as if a smoke machine had puffed a profound and eerie veil I sat at a large round table alone at the time It was barstool height and piled with nothing as the three approached Two young ladies with dark hair and dark eyes, but buttery soft yet bright Dark clothing adorned their full and straight posture A young man accompanied them, handsome and quiet throughout a friendly and familiar exchange as if I had seen all this before All I can remember is the young lady who spoke their thoughts asked me if I had any earthly idea who I was I answered "yes, but only earthly." She smiled and they stood. "Be well' she said with her beautiful smile. Her companions nodded in addition. "I wonder if I might ask" I asked. "Yes" she said. "You might as well", and they were gone. Suddenly the time sped up and I was alone again, in a crowded room full of music...
i'm on a ship traveling through space, deep space (not that shallow stuff - i don't do superficial space) alone i think, or alone for now, just gazing out at the stars there's some sort of ambient music/sound playing in the background the volume is low, but powerful sounds like endel and it is beautiful there are no words

A repeating one. Infrequent yet firmly instructed.
It's dark and I'm on a dirt road. At a bend are several ramshackle buildings, bleached out and rough hewn. It seems no one is around. I see light eminating from an area and go to it. On a porch is a small table and on the table a metal tray. On the tray are 3 burning candles of different sizes; all salt encrusted and tenderly flickering. One has burned far down into the core. I reach toward it and with a finger break a thin fragile ridge over into the pool of melted tallow...
Candles = hope? Keep hope alive
Often my significant, or at least lucid dreams involve threes.

My phone starting playing a song. I thought that was weird, because i chose an old-style phone ring for incoming calls. So i looked at my phone, it was 'on'. I touched it to get in to see what was making the song play. Nothing happened. I tried a few more times, still nothing. Then someone called out to me saying, "Hey, your brother Junior is here". So i walked over to where the guy was who called out to me. I looked at my phone, and now it was black. I touched it a few times to wake it up, nothing. No light. But the music was still playing. I saw my brother laying there. I asked the guy, "Is he asleep?". I can't remember if he answered. So i hollered, "Hey, Junior!". He woke up. And that's all i remember.
I was in a basement, and I heard someone shuffling down the stairs. Suddenly there was my Father, standing there with his eyes closed, expressionless. He shuffled toward me and fell into my arms without a sound, seemingly asleep. He looked much like he did before his health failed. I called to him and I cried as I stood there alone, bearing his weight. Then I woke up...

My Father and I standing in the checkout line at a junk shop. He was his older self, right before he got sick and turned the corner. Then snakes...a water moccasin with a red belly. I can't remember any other details. Wish I could remember what we bought. I didn't wake up sobbing this time at least...
