I was raking leaves when I saw bees coming out of this lump of something on the ground. Some morphed into beautiful butterflies, a few morphed into moths.

Had this dream last night. I don't know if it was a long dream or a series of short dreams. I don't remember enough of to bother telling it all, but the end I remember. All except for 1 critical word, as you'll see. This kid is telling us (whoever 'us' is) that they (whoever 'they' are) created this world (the world in my dream). As he is talking to us, we can see the end of a street stretching out as more is being created. He tells us that they created islands. And at one point he asks them, "Can I have a pink here?" And this voice says (I forget the exact words, but in essence it said...), "Just because you ask for something doesn't mean you'll get it". To which the kid replied, "But the golden rule says that between nothing and (less than nothing), all is permitted" And there's the word I can't remember, which I replaced with "less than nothing". It was just 1 word that basically could be construed to mean less than nothing. When i woke up, I thought I better write all this down. But of course, I figured I would remember.

Her name was Ingrid.
No, it's not what you think. She had three kids, 2 girls and a boy. I looked after her kids while she had work to do.
Have no idea where dreams like that come from.

Had another dream last night about my parents. This time in the house I grew up in.

Last night: Funny sleeping-in-the-big-chair dream: I was sitting in the big chair (yes, in the dream) in this house, and could hear the tv in the living room (there is no tv in the living room) that Daddy was watching (and, of course, there is no Daddy in the living room either). I knew I needed to get up from the big chair and go to bed and thought that I’d just turn the volume down on the tv and leave it on, though Daddy had fallen asleep in front of it. There were kids running around outside the house, with flashlights or something, so I opened the front door to yell, (yes I did) “Hey!" and then more softly, self consciously, "Get off my lawn!” And someone in another house started yelling for one of the kids, his name (Ivan?). I closed the door and was starting to wake up, but for some reason, maybe it was on tv, I was trying to remember the name of a sci fi story, and was thinking of the plot (Wrinkle in Time ish). And then I woke up. In the big chair. And realized the story wasn’t real. Too bad the plot was kinda lame, or I could try and write it. Or I could go to bed.

Oof. Such a vivid dream ... my dear, departed friend Bob, at his memorial. Him, still alive. So lovely to see him, though I knew he was dying. And then, my former BFF showed up. Gah.

It was Saturday morning and I knew that Mighty Mouse and Sky King would be on soon and that I would be breaking buttered toast up into my oatmeal. My inner self looked out and saw signs that my dreaming self couldn't imagine so that when music became the sunrise I realized what love must feel like in heaven and must sound like in the silvery silence of a profoundly deaf world.
oh wait! This is not a dream! My bad...
ok, it was less dramatic, or more maybe. I pulled up behind a roughly early 50s American car in the driveway of a house I didn't recognize and got out to walk to the passenger side of that car and there stood my Father! I was stunned for a moment, then "Daddy! Where have you been! Has this all been a dream?!"
I awoke in a grieving sob and that was with me all day, and even now. It was him, but maybe 40. Can't say.

I dreamed I was with the president. At the White House. He was in whatever room he goes to, to enjoy some cookies and relax. I had some task to do. A small task. (I forget what) He handed me a wad of papers with stuff he had written. He wanted me to review it. He asked if it was enough. It told him it was plenty enough. Someone else was in that room, enjoying a cookie with the president. That person laughed. The president said that maybe I was lying. I assured him it was plenty enough.
(Especially considering I really didn't want to read through all that crap to start with)
