Summer vacation plans?

for the next eleven days or so i'm going to work my way around the left coast of florida
i should wind up in the panhandle to spend time with family and friends

Brian Protheroe. Might spend end of September in PT and hang at the movie festival there. Driving up, enjoying the Best Coast, bringing the kayaks and maybe doing some camping before and after.
Put in my time for thirty years, and coming up way too quickly on the end of The Big Road, so it's time to stop and smell the seaweed.

We want to start taking Jordan on Summer vacations and would love to visit our nation's national parks. We're planning a trip at the end of July up to Kentucky to go to Mammoth Cave National Park to explore the caves, stay in a cabin on Nolin Lake and probably rent a boat one of the days we're there. Anyone been there who can provide suggestions of other things to do in the area?
