Not typical of this band but it's fun. So anyway, thanks to Beaker on FB for sharing a FLA tour graphic that pointed out they'll be in Billings Montana, May 11. I don't own much of anything you'd call "industrial" but live, it can be pretty intense. So we'll see how popular tickets are and give it a try.
This one sounds like a cross between Yello and Trans-era Neil Young  right up my alley
Oh by the way also on the bill: Ministry and Gary Frickin' Numan.
For the uninitiated, FLA is one of the genius co-lab projects of Rhys Fulber.
Rhys and Bill Leeb are those largely responsible for Delerium and Conjure One. Pretty frickin talented dude.
Also, GARY FRICKIN' NUMAN !
There are not enough superlative words in the universe to express what I think of Gary's performance in this vid!
Ministry tour promo video:
Can't say I ever got into Ministry tho... still doesn't seem to be quite my thing.

Yeah I left my $40 earplugs at Druid Labs so ...what were those ones you recommended? I'm going to get 4 pairs. If the kids want to go hear oldies, that is. In that concrete box it's going to do some damage.

I saw an ad for that show a little too late - we'd already bought tickets to a Filter/Ministry/Alice Cooper/Rob Zombie show down at Fiddlers Green. Though to be honest, I find the thought of FLA/Ministry a little terrifying in that particular room. My ears are getting old.
Edit: Wow, they booked Milky Chance, too. Someone is killing it up there.
