A neighbor had one as a pet when I lived in west Africa. Interesting little critters for sure. Sad what has befallen them.

I watched this program the other night - pretty fascinating creatures which I knew very little about before then. Last night I found a millipede on the floor of my bathroom. I picked it up with a piece of tissue and took it outside. It produced a strong odor when disturbed. I realized I didn't know anything about these creatures. They are ancient and really pretty interesting... and somewhat creepy.
