I personally believe that the muse is significantly different, but arranging the emotion around musical notes and rhythms is for the writer deeply personal and though influences are all around us, pure originality and authenticity are a tenuous balance by the time an artist is deeply within their stories.

I don't think they were reaching, just recognizing that both made them feel some feelings. I know that Smith liked Pink Floyd but it's funny that try as he might to be completely original, those influences reveal themselves and I think Smith would probably not agree.

What about that? I read that comment also. Not sure why people reach for comparisons when they need only to listen.

Sounds so everyday these days. In the comments, someone compared them to Pink Floyd. I'm sure Mr. Smith would recoil at that.

The "Music Search" function on the menu shows 6 Alan Parsons selections. They cycle through every once in awhile.  Songs are chosen by the genius of William's artistic programming.
