No one is that surprised that Trump won. It is something we all feared.
Trump won because he has one single simple message: grievance.
He didn't win because he has a working plan of how to fix it, because he demonstrably doesn't.
He didn't win because he has a vision of a brighter better future for his supporters, because he demonstrably doesn't. (He has one for himself, but not for you.)
He didn't win because he identified the causes of your grievance because, instead, he latched onto the easiest targets of illegal immigration and transgender issues, which are not the actual causes of your grievance in any way, shape or form.
No, he won purely and simply because he told you that you have a right to feel aggrieved and by God, we are going make someone pay for it.
He is the poster boy for America's big fat insecurity complex.
Yet, the glaring omission in all of this is what exactly are you aggrieved about?
You're the biggest, richest, most free and powerful country in the world and you run about squealing as though someone stole your honey pot.
It is painfully clear to the rest of us, but oddly not to the Trump fanbase.
Well stated my friend. Just a bunch of angry haters cutting off their noses to spite themselves.
Nope, the democrats lowered the bar first with Biden and then by undemocratically putting Harris up for election.
And you still wonder why Trump won. smh.
Jeepers, let me try to explain in simple terms:

I donât. I grew up in southern Louisiana where they still think the losers of the Civil War were something special. (Hint: they were racists.)
And now, the mantra of the GOP/Trump is that the only reason America is in decline is everyone who isnât white. (Hint: racists.)
I donât wonder why Trump won. I wonder why - in the face of obvious senility and incompetence and hypocrisy and personal greed - I wonder why in the world anyone would still support him. After all, libral tears can only sustain you for so long. After that, you need affordable and accessible food and healthcare and peace and prosperity.
Trump isnât providing us with those things. Just the illusion of getting rid of them colored. Again, I acknowledge that for some people thatâs Job One. Heck, theyâve even got an anthem -
It really would be refreshing if we had a president who was an actual deal-maker and understood politics, conflict resolution, world and American history, diplomacy, science...
Well, both times someone like that ran they were disqualified by peopleâs fears that they might be emotional or unstable.
So thereâs that.
It really would be refreshing if we had a president who was an actual deal-maker and understood politics, conflict resolution, world and American history, diplomacy, science...
Trump is demanding the "unconditional surrender" of a country we are not at war with. He's a complete idiot.
