Woot woot! Tomorrow will make 50 days of shorts and flip flops. Unfortunately it is also our last full day at the southern outpost. Sunday we hit the road for the return trip. It has been super nice though. Little more work, lot more packing...

Oh man...Safe travels back. Enjoy your last day, for now.
Happy Frydee! The sun is finally shining here. Hope everyone is good this morning.

28° here right now and I got to change out a battery on the Buick right now. At least itâs sunny.
Freakinâ AGM batteries are a nightmare if they loose their charge. Got an old acid based one from Wally World for a $149 VS $190 AGM yesterday. I would have waited to install it tomorrow when it is supposed to get to 40°, but the guy I know who owns the garage I deal with is going to stop by with his scanner to see what traction control sensor is toast on it. Donât know why my reader wonât give me the code.
AGMs are nice, but most car systems will under charge them - you want a solid 14.7V charge on them. A good option is to put a diode on the sense wire to trick the alternator into boosting the output.
Mornin' y'all...and Happy Thursday! I love driving Big Sexy on days like today. It plows through the water and I don't skid all over the place. I'm ready to park it though. 65 bucks worth of gas a few days ago and it's about time to put more in it. 65 bucks didn't even fill the tank. Probably wouldn't be so bad if I didn't live so far out. I told J that he'll need to get a good paying teenager job to keep gas in it.
