I've got to say.  I'm so glad my nephew's listen to me.  I also have to ask...why, why, why is there always some f*cking dipshit somewhere that's going to pull a gun.  I know why, I guess.  I don't want to start a debate on gun control or anything like that, please.  Jackson headed off to Gulf Shores this past Friday for AEA (Spring Break) with his best buddy and his parents....They were spending a few days there and then headed over to Destin yesterday to spend the rest of the trip over there.  Before he left, I had to give him the speech and all of my money, lol.  We have a thing....I've always told him that there's no such thing as being at the wrong place at the wrong time.  I know it doesn't mean shit anymore because there's always the chance, but that was my way of telling him to be aware of his surroundings, be aware of the people he might be hanging out with.  If he senses something is about to happen, get the hell away.  He's got great instincts, that one.  I wake up Monday morning, first thing I see on the news is that there was a shooting at The Hangout.  ( Hangout Gulf Shores – The Hangout Restaurant ).  I immediately start texting, but his text reaches me first.   He told me about it and told me that he did what I told him.  "When the sh*t hit the fan, me and William jumped the closest fence and ran away fast".   I'm surprisingly calm....I don't know how I feel about it.  Of course, I'm glad that he is ok.  I just can't wrap my head around it right now.  And of all the places in the world....Gulf Shores.
