78 here and bright sun. We've had several days of clouds and spotty rain, then a big storm 2 nights ago. A few iffy roads in town and at least 2 new monster potholes to navigate, but pretty much bavk to normal. The pool cooled off with the rain, but the solar cover is working hard now and we are back over 80, should be perfect for an afternoon dip. I need to make some salsa, and prepare a beverage.

20° here this morning (C). but we've had over an inch of rain since last night. the pool is full to the brim, and the arroyo crossing looks like a bog. Supposed to keep up all day.

After the song, Bill made a comment about the 20th century being full of darkness, and that he'd rather roll the dice on the future, but did not provide any reason. I'm interested in those reasons: What is better now, and what will (likely) be even better in the future?
Boy did I F' up my old 17" Macbook Pro. Trying to recover 14 years of stuff off the the last OS 10.13 in a partitioned section.
Got OS 10.11 running on the reformatted MS-DOS partition reformatted to MacHSF+, then I will try to get OS 10.12 and will try to see if i can do a recovery from that.

Edit: Well, hooray. Power back on already. But it's only for our town. Area just west of us still no power.
got about 3â then it started to rain. Went out @ 8 in slippers to shovel 8â out my back door for the mailman. Iâm about ready to go out and do the driveway and clean the car. Itâs heavy and wet and needs to be cleaned before the big freeze tonight.
